SaaS tools for debt collection. Works with over 20 banks and NBFCs. Automates constant communication with borrowers during the tenure of their loan along with customised payment links, sends digital notices, solves litigations online and provides a multi-lingual field collection app. $1.1M seed round. Founders: Balaji, IIT Roorkee, comes from WheelsEye Finance (unsecured credit for fleet owners); Prashanth is a software lead from WheelsEye; Vijay, IIT Roorkee, brings product experience, also ex-WheelsEye.
Cross-border payments platform currently focused on student remittances and now entering new segments - SME trade remittances and co-branded forex cards. $2M seed round. The CEO Dewang was CEO of NTT Data Payment Services India; Geeta, CBO, was Head of Strategic Alliances at the same company; Ujwal, CTO, is from Infosys, Citi and a couple of startups.
Cross border payments for the world. Merchants globally (not just in India) can accept payments from 150 countries, using 25 payment methods, with a 90% success rate. $1.1M pre-seed round. Other investors in this round: Nitin Gupta (Uni Cards/PayU), Maninder Gulati (Oyo/Lightspeed), Raymond Russell (Boom Supersonic), Preethi Kasireddy (a16z), Nishant Verman (Flipkart). Founders: Rishabh, the CEO, BITS Pilani + LBS, worked at Prodigy Finance (cross border payments) and briefly at Wise (fka TransferWise). Ayush, the CPTO, IIT-Roorkee, worked at Tournafest and briefly at IndiGG. Comps: Infinity, funded on 6 Feb 2025, is tackling this in a different way.
Unified finance and banking platform for mid-size businesses ($10-40M revenue scale). The platform takes care of 1) Billing - ensuring bills are pulled in from various sources (email, slack) and errors in billing are automatically addressed, 2) Accounting - with AI replacing the need for large inhouse accounting teams and 3) Banking - automatically taking care of payments. Fundraise coincides with the company coming out of closed beta. The founders worked together on games and gamification at Flipkart. $2.8M seed round. Other investors in this round: Neon Fund, IIMA Ventures and angels - Sriharsha Majety (Swiggy), Mohit Kumar (Ultrahuman), Naiyaa Saagi (EDTLife, ex-MyGlamm), Nitin Gupta (Uni), Nishith Rastogi (Locus).
Full-stack NRI investment platform - "All things Money Crafted for Global Indians". Clients can easily open NRE/NRO accounts, process UPI payments and invest across asset classes in India, while being abroad. "In the USA alone, NRIs have over $300 billion in low-yield savings overseas because investing in India has been too complex". $1M pre-seed round. Angels in this round: Ravi Shankar (Active AI); Kishore Natarajan and Kedar Kulkarni (Hyperverge)
Cross border payments for Indian SMEs. Avoids the multi-bank hopping of an international transaction that happens in the SWIFT system, which leads to multiple fees, by enabling direct transactions between Infinity's partner banks in India and abroad. This can reduce fees by 70%. Also enables SMEs to earn interest on idle cash through investment in government securities. Bengaluru based, the founders are siblings. $1.9M pre-seed round. Differentiation is well explained in the YourStory article linked below. It's a real shame this startup wasn't funded by India-based VCs.
Secured lending platform with a Loan Against Mutual Funds (LAMF) product, in collaboration with Bajaj and NBFCs. ₹6.75 crore pre-seed round. growX ventures (not linked below) also participated in the round.
Marketplace for home loans. Connects banks and NBFCs with home buyers, 15K customers served so far. Pranav Khattar and Ashish Lohia are also co-founders (not linked below). $7M raised through a combination of seed and Pre-Series A rounds.
