Designs and manufactures EV charging solutions including chargers for OEMs as well as public charging stations. This covers the full suite - EV chargers, connectors, vehicle charging inlets and the Charging Management System (CMS) - for 2 wheelers, 3W and 4W. The company is a key supplier to OEMs including Ather, Bajaj Auto, Greaves (Ampere). Started in 2017. $3M raise in what appears to be the company's first external round. JV between MEHER Group, Deki Electronics and Sungho Electronics.
Nanomaterials for energy storage. Has developed ion-selective membranes that serve as critical components for electrolysers used in green hydrogen production and for redox flow batteries in long duration energy storage (LDES) systems. Existing membranes fall short in durability, efficiency or cost-effectiveness - solving these is critical for the clean energy transition. ₹25CR seed round - Ankur Capital's first deal from Fund III. The startup is Philadelphia and BLR based. The founders are material scientists. Murari has been working on this for the last six years, almost straight out of U-Penn; Nagesh spent 10 years at Thermax and was Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First.
EV charging network with a dual approach - high-speed DC chargers for highways; along with a decentralized network of chargers in urban hubs. Any electric vehicle owner can purchase the DeCharge charger, install it and start earning as a host while saving on their own charging costs. Built on the Solana blockchain. $2.5M seed round. Other investors in this round: EV3 Labs, Chainyoda Jedis, Levitate Labs. Two of the three founders built a startup offering Metaverse-as-a-Service to brands; the third was Head of Blockchain at Chingari. Comps: Greenie Energy, funded last December. Greenie is focused on the India market, DeCharge seems to be building for a global market.
Carbon offset platform. Enables high-quality carbon removal at scale. Companies globally can offset their emissions by leveraging its dMRV stack, carbon credit assessment engine and on-ground presence. ₹1CR round. Angels in this round: Anindya Sengupta, Mohan Alexander, Sameer Prabhudesai, Sandeep Datta, Shantanu Pratap Singh, Sidd Gandhi, Sumit Harit, Tanmay Das. Founders: Vineet is former CEO of SG Analytics, Director at Moody's; Utkarsh worked at Eximius Ventures; Anwita is a lawyer turned sustainability consultant. Info on this round has only been disclosed to us, so far.
Power converters for clean energy products - EV chargers and battery swapping stations. Also developing solutions for clean energy storage and for hydrogen electrolysers. Has deployed 14K power converters across 20 clients in India. Dynolt's expertise is in control systems using general-purpose microcontrollers and software, instead of traditional application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), which gives it a cost and efficiency advantage. $1.7M seed round.
Battery-swapping platform for 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers, operating in 14 cities. $8M seed round, in equity and debt (split undisclosed). Pune based. Previously raised $8M at pre-seed.
Enables truely green battery production. Converts organic waste (coconut shells etc.) into nanocarbons, which are used in energy storage devices (batteries and capacitors). This reduces our dependence on extracting raw materials from the ground, while increasing the energy density for lithium-ion hybrid batteries by 125% (e.g, a two-wheeler with a 100km range can now run 225km). Jaipur based. $1.2M seed round. Other investors in this round: Sagana.
Real innovation in sustainable packaging solutions. Seaweed is sourced from villages and converted into clear thin films (to produce bags and wrappers); coatings (to ensure food preservation in food takeout/delivery packaging); and to produce wood-free paper (used for clothes tags, cartons and bakery boxes). Supplies primarily to Europe and GCC countries. ₹20CR raised in this seed round, which also included VC Grid, 7th Gen Ventures, Spectrum Impact and LNB Group. Also received a $100K grant from the Peak XV Spark Fellowship Programme.
SaaS platform focused on sustainability for the fashion and textile industry. Provides the typical suite of products offered by CleanTech-SaaS: carbon accounting, ESG Reporting, supply chain decarbonisation and traceability. $1.2M raised in this seed round which also included Zeca Ventures, Anshuman Bapna (Terra.do), Sumit Jain (Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (Clovia), Amit Kumar (Nobroker) and Senthil Sankar (Ecoline).
SaaS for supply chain management, with a focus on traceability (using blockchain); tracking Scope 1,2,3 emissions and providing a network of verified recyclers. ₹8.6CR raised in this pre-seed round with participation from angels.
