COO Hemaditya was an engineer at AEREO before building Protoezy as CEO (hardware design prototyping). Founded in Apr 2025.
SpaceTech startup developing autonomous robotic spacecraft to clear space debris. Space debris poses challenges to space stations, future exploration as well as satellites. In addition to removing space debris, the company helps operators de-orbit satellites, insuring they comply with regulations on orbital safety. In-space demonstrations are expected in late 2026. $3.17M pre-seed round. Other investors in the round: Shakti VC, Pawan Kumar Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka (Skyroot Aerospace). Founder & CEO Chiran was at ISRO for 15 years, most recently as the Head of the Anthropometry, Biomechanics and Human Performance Division. Founded in Jun 2025. Based in T-Hub in Hyderabad.
Robotics startup developing perception hardware (i.e. multi-sensor, gyro stabilized cameras) and agentic AI for use on drones across air, ground and sea. Target customers in defence, policing and industrial inspection. No information on current traction. ₹3.5CR seed round. Founder Vignesh (robotics at Washington University in St. Louis) was Group Product Manager at Asteria Aerospace (drones). Founded in Jun 2024.
SpaceTech startup developing expandable space habitats and dual use defence-space technologies. This round will go towards developing an expandable space habitat for use in orbital logistics, in-space experiments and space habitation. $1.2M pre-seed round. Other investors in the round: LVX, 1Crowd, and Riceberg Ventures. Founders: Siddharth (CEO) has a PhD in Wind Engineering; Manjesh (COO) was a global supply manager at Lucid Motors in California; Manoj (CBO) is an engineer from AYRO Inc., Cruise and Volvo. Manjesh and Manoj continue to hold other full time roles, it appears. Founded in May 2024.
Manufacturer of battery management systems (BMS) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) for EVs and energy storage. BMS' have been traditionally reliant on foreign components and the goal is to build an indigenous system. $2.3M seed round. Supported by T-Works, T-Hub and their AIC program. Founders: CEO Satish, ex-Microsoft and Roche, was the founder of Pascalcase (tools on top of Microsoft's Dynamics 365 ERP); CTO Sonu is also ex-Bosch; CMO Varshith is a former engineer from QuillBot. Founded in Apr 2024.
SpaceTech startup building satellite constellations to deliver accurate, secure, and sovereign Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) services from Low Earth Orbit, as an alternative to GPS. The company is developing spoofing-proof and jamming-resistant signals, issues faced by existing systems using GPS or GLONASS (the Russian equivalent of GPS). ₹14CR pre-seed round. Founders: CEO Lokesh, CBO Vibhor and CTO Anurag are all IIT Madras and worked together on Avishkar Hyperloop - a 422m long test bed vacuum tube developed by the students of IIT Madras, along with ArcelorMittal, L&T, the Indian Railways and Hindalco. Founded in Jun 2023 as AeroDome Technologies, before renaming to VyomIC in Aug 2025.
Devices to help factories save energy and cut emissions. The company's 'steam expander' devices capture the steam traditionally lost by pressure releasing valves (PRVs) attached to industrial boilers. India has over 45,000 industrial boilers that generate over 1.2 billion tons of steam annually across virtually every industry. The steam power lost by PRVs (which regulate steam input to safe levels but result in losing much of that excess steam) per year amounts to energy losses of over ₹66,000CR. Devices see a payback of 6-12 months and reduce 180 tons of CO2 per location per year. $1M pre-seed round. Founders: Balachandran is a Doctoral Researcher from IIT Madras (eight years), Vipin is a project scientist at IIT Madras and was a design engineer at Forbes Marshall, Satyanarayanan is a professor and the Head of the Energy Centre and Energy Consortium at IIT Madras. Founded in Aug 2022.
Cultivated meat brand, replicating the taste and texture of conventional meat with 400 consumer trials so far. Cultivated meat is integrated with food-safe ingredients to improve affordability and scalability vs. a pure cell grown process. The plan is to distribute directly to consumers as well as manufacturers, retailers and restaurants. Future avenues include cultivated seafood and petfood. ₹2CR pre-seed round. Founders: Kamalnayan (Institute of Chemical Technology, '23) worked briefly at Abryl Laboratories (manufacturer of liquid vials) and has been President of nonprofit The Mumbai Smart Protein Project. Founded in Jul 2023. Comps are global: GOOD Meat, Upside Foods.
BioTech startup developing non-microplastic sustainable biopolymers, as an alternative to specialty polymers and ingredients. Agricultural waste is converted into biopolymers for use across home care, beauty, nutraceutical and pharma products.
