The company's 'steam expander' devices capture the steam traditionally lost by pressure releasing valves (PRVs) attached to industrial boilers. India has over 45,000 industrial boilers that generate over 1.2 billion tons of steam annually across virtually every industry. The steam power lost by PRVs (which regulate steam input to safe levels but result in losing much of that excess steam) per year amounts to energy losses of over ₹66,000CR.
