The company's 'steam expander' devices capture the steam traditionally lost by pressure releasing valves (PRVs) attached to industrial boilers. India has over 45,000 industrial boilers that generate over 1.2 billion tons of steam annually across virtually every industry. The steam power lost by PRVs (which regulate steam input to safe levels but result in losing much of that excess steam) per year amounts to energy losses of over ₹66,000CR. Vibe coding platform to make full, production-ready apps and websites vs. quick prototypes. One of India's first vibe coding startups, this takes on Lovable, Cursor and Bolt. Three months since its beta launch in June, the company has 400K users, 10K paying subscribers, $4.5M in ARR. Goals: $20-25M by this December, $60-70M by June 2026. According to the CEO, 80% of its customers build "serious" applications. According to TechCrunch, "generating the first application takes about 25 minutes — much slower than most vibe-coding tools, which usually produce results within three. But in our early testing, Rocket.new delivered a more comprehensive user experience, with all essential modules included." $15M seed round. Round of an undisclosed amount from the Technology Development Board (TDB), the Government of India's fund that earlier supported Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin. Founder Dinesh started Raptee in 2018 after running a Royal Enfield dealership for six years. He spent a brief eight months at Tesla (program management) after his Master's in Industrial Engineering at Purdue.
Spin-out from Climes, the carbon-offset marketplace backed by the same set of investors. The company develops carbon removal projects in conjunction with farmer-producer organizations (FPOs) across agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, mangrove restoration and biochar. Funding will be used towards expanding 8 projects across 9 states - with a target to remove 20M tonnes of carbon. (which is what approx. 10M households in India would emit in a year for context). $3M seed round. Founders Siddhanth (Purdue) and Sricharann (NUS) were both at Climes as Co-Founder and Lead - Business & Investments respectively. Siddhanth worked at Kalaari for five years. D2C nutrition brand focused on filling daily nutrient gaps. products include Supply6 360, which is a blend of 63 nutrients, probiotics and superfoods; and Supply 6 Salts, a zero sugar hydration mix. $1.1M seed round. Revenue scale unknown. The brand is endorsed by South African cricketer AB de Villiers and will enter high adoption markets including the GCC. Angels include the founders of Dot & Key, Livspace, Snitch, Bewakoof. Founders: CEO Rupesh Jain founded Candere in 2012 - an omnichannel jewelry brand to make (real) diamonds accessible, which Kalyan Jewelers invested in, in 2017, and ultimately bought out in 2024. Candere had a revenue at the time of ₹130CR (~$15M, in FY24). His wife Vandana joined him in the business and is a co-founder in Lucira. Lucira was founded in Apr 2025.
