Seven (7 Ring) is a Mumbai-based wearable fintech startup founded in 2020 , building a seamless tap-to-pay smart ring powered by NFC and UPI. Its flagship 7 Ring works offline- drawing power from payment terminals, requires no battery nor smartphone, and is certified on RuPay and Mastercard networks. The startup recently closed a ₹4CR Pre‑Series A round, led by Venture Catalysts with participation from existing backer Vinners, Anchorage Capital Partners, and the Sheth family office, to scale manufacturing, roll out the more affordable 7 Ring Air, and expand distribution via metro stations and e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart .
